Environmental Services
Sam Brathwaite began his environmental consulting career in
1989 and has served as a staff geologist, project geologist,
senior hydro-geologist, project manager and program director on
numerous high profile private and public sector projects. He
founded Ground Zone Environmental Services in February 2008.
Sam's experience includes managing the complexities of a
diverse range of projects and services including the following:
Environmental Litigation; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
(RCRA); Title 27 Landfill Closure Investigation; Comprehensive
Environmental Response and Liability Act (CERCLA); Brownfields;
Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments; National
Contingency Plan (NCP); Stormwater Compliance; Leaking
Underground Storage Tanks (LUST); Engineering Geology;
Construction; and NEPA and CEQA clearance studies for numerous
sites.
Sam holds a Master of Science degree in geology and is a
professional geologist, certified hydro-geologist and engineering
geologist in the State of California. In addition, he is a
certified construction project manager, qualified SWPPP developer
and practitioner as well as a qualified industrial stormwater
practitioner.
